About Summit
Summit Saturday School began in a local community centre when a group of teachers came together to help local students who were not realising their full potential in mainstream schools. They felt there was a definite need for support outside school.

The teachers found that some students just needed a little more explanation while others required more extensive help. The teachers noticed that this led to a considerable improvement in learning, confidence and self esteem. This was measured by the students’ performance in examinations and at school.

From those small beginnings we now have Summit Saturday, a unique school open to all children who can make the journey to Clapham Junction.

What makes Summit Saturday School Unique? Pupils speak of kind caring teachers and a fun environment that is welcoming and friendly. They speak of the close friends they have made and a strong peer group. They often say "I am much more confident".

These are just some of the reasons Summit pupils give up their Saturday mornings to study and no doubt explains why they thrive academically.

... Many of our younger students are now at leading grammar and independent schools and our graduates are studying at universities around the country ...
