Knowledge and Understanding

• Qualified teacher status: Recent and successful experience in secondary education.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
• Ability to formulate action plans on the basis of critical judgments made.
• Ability to create a positive, stimulating and effective learning environment within the classroom and within the school.
• Warm, approachable and caring and respectful towards all pupils in the school
• Effective working relationships with colleagues and parents.
• Ability to recognise gifted and talented students and make necessary recommendations.
