The Felicia Amosu Award – 2010
This Award is exclusive to Summit students aged 12 to 20years. It is organised by Abi Amosu and the Amosu family in honour of Mrs. Felicia Amosu, an outstanding black woman who single handedly raised 3 fine young men all of whom are highly successful.
Students are given a research topic and must then present their findings to a panel of experts judges. Against all the odds, Mohamud Mohamud aged 12 years astounded the judges this year with his confidence, knowledge of the topic and clarity of communication. He won the first prize of £500.00 as well as the 2010 trophy.
